Chapped Lips ARE Dry Lips

Chapped lips are dry lips. 
Want healthier, soft lips? Follow these tried and true dermatologist recommendations:
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Humidify your living space
  • Stop licking and picking your lips
  • Don't let salty, acidic food or irritating products touch your lip
  • Avoid products with fragrance, lanolin, menthol, or chemical sunscreen
  • When choosing natural balms, look for ingredients like beeswax, castor seed oil, cocoa butter, coconut oil, hemp seed oil, or shea butter.

Remember to wash your lips gently with warm, not hot water and use products for sensitive skin. Blot carefully and apply a soothing balm that contains ingredients like listed above and Vitamin E oil to repair those cracks. 

Stay the course! It takes about 2-3 weeks to repair, moisturize and revitalize really chapped lips.
