Did you know that Bergamot Essential Oil is a natural bug repellent? At a recent outdoor event, the gnats were swarming our Rideau Organics booth. As I was in the shade (
bergamot, like citrus essential oils is photo sensitive), I quickly applied our Bergamot Foot Stick to my bare skin. While we didn't formulate it as a bug repellent, it also helped to soothe and provide quick relief to my ankles that those nasty bugs bit. In a pinch, just like our product soothes and repairs dry, chapped feet - it helps with itchy bug bites too. Just remember to use it when you are indoors, not out in the sun. Laurie
